Anxiety and Depression

Anxiety affects more than 30% of adults at some point in their lives. It is a treatable condition, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is a common approach that helps individuals identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors.   Mindfulness, also,  can help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression by promoting a sense of calm and relaxation.  


Depression includes persistent feelings of sadness, fatigue, and loss of interest in activities.  Treatment includes cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy, lifestyle changes (physical exercise, establishing a routine), social support, and self-care practices. I can help you make changes in how you think about things, which has the ability to influence your mood.

Relaxation techniques such as breathing exercises, guided imagery, or mindfulness can provide you with the tools you need to manage stress. I provide support, caring, and respect, treating you as the unique person you are.
